Touching down in the unique lunar landscape of Badlands National Park feels more like a moon landing due to the bizarre low slung buttes, chiselled spires and saw tooth ridges - but this definitely isn't the moon and there are signs of life – sightings of bison, Bighorn Sheep and prairie dogs can confirm it.
