Day 1: Kahului

Arrive at any time.
Welcome to Maui! There are no planned activities today, so check into the hotel and explore.

Day 2: Kahului

Free day for optional activities on Maui. In the evening, grab a lei and get into the aloha spirit at a traditional luau.
Today is the first of two free days to explore Maui. Opt to take a surf lesson, go whale watching (seasonal), snorkel, or just relax. Whatever you choose, make sure to save plenty of energy (and appetite) for this evening's Luau, a traditional Hawaiian party featuring dancing and delicious local foods like Poke and roast Pork.

Day 3: Kahului

Enjoy a second free day on Maui. Opt to travel the Road to Hana or take a sailing trip to the neighbouring island Lana'i.
Maui is blessed with recreational opportunities wherever you look! Hikers can check out the famous Sliding Sands or Pipiwai trials for so incredible views of the island, or opt for a snorkelling excursion in the rich waters off the coast.

Day 4: Kahului/Hilo

Catch a flight to the island of Hawai'i (aka the Big Island) and transfer to the town of Hilo.
Today we transfer to the second leg of our journey on the Big Island, known for it's unique black lava environment and laid back atmosphere.

Day 5: Hilo

Enjoy a free day in Hilo.
With free time in Hilo, opt to visit Wailuku River State Park to see the colourful mist of Rainbow Falls and the Boiling Pots, a series of pools carved by lava that give the appearance that they're bubbling. Alternatively, check out the town of Hilo or go kayaking in Hilo Bay.

Day 6: Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park

Travel to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and discover the lava flows and martian-like landscapes during a full-day excursion in the park.
Visit Volcanoes National Park to see first hand how the Hawaiian islands were formed, and continue to grow! There's so much to explore on foot, or opt to take in the vast scenery and flowing lava from above on an optional helicopter flight.

Day 7: Hilo/Kailua-Kona

Travel to the town of Kailua-Kona, stopping at Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park en route.
Visit the sacred grounds Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park, home of many of Hawaii's monarchs, and a place of refuge during times of strife.
